Many people might say that environment and Olympics are not that closely related!! However, it is not true indeed!!!

Environment is the main key factor to hold the Olympics as well!!

Korea is going to host the 17th Incheon Asian Games in 2014!!

Though Asian Games and Olympics are quite different, I researched about the relationship between environment and world games!     

Summer Olympics is held on ground. Winter Olympics is held on snow. It is not an exaggeration to say that the most crucial part of Winter Olympics is the snow itself. It?s the factor that differentiates Summer Olympics from the Winter Olympics- the kinds of sports played differ according to the weather. At Winter Olympics, incredible amounts of sports are related with snow. There are 7 main types of sports held- biathlon, skating, skiing, luge, ice hockey, curling, and bobsleigh. Out of this 7, 3 sports of biathlon, skiing, and bobsleigh are played on snow. This means that almost half of the sports are played on snow. The rest of the sports are played on ice- which is frozen snow. It can be said that snow is holding the Winter Olympics. And as the candidate city trying to hold the 20XX winter Olympics, we must say that we have the best snow, the one that can best hold the Olympic Games.

The quality of snow is very important in the Olympics. The Olympic motto is ?Citius, Altius, Fortius? which is Latin for ?Faster, Higher, Stronger.? This motto was proposed on the creation of the International Olympic Committee, whom Grenoble believes that once the impact snow has on achieving ?Faster, Higher, Stronger? feats is proven, will pick Grenoble to hold the winter Olympics of 20XX. For the Olympic players, the condition and environment of the game has significant importance. A slight change in the quality of the material of the arena, a slight difference in the weather, results in a huge difference. Just as a tiny bit of wind can send an arrow meters away from the target, the quality of snow determines the players? performance. A low quality snow can result in a decrease in the performance, and can even lead to fatality. A high quality snow is smooth, letting ski and bobsleighs glide fast. Grenoble is located on the verge of Mount Alps, and the snow of Grenoble is pure and of the best quality.
