Hello, I would like to share the experience I have got during 2 weeks volunteering on one of our local schools in my first report. Not only important for students but for others too. We must understand why we should exercise regularly and how this influence our brains experts recommend 2 hours of sweaty exercise per day for the young brain. According to Dr. John Medina, author of Brain Rules, "The three requirements for human life are food, drink and oxygen. But their effects on survival have very different time lines. You can live for about 30 days without food, about 7 days without water. Your brain however, is so active that it cannot go without oxygen for more than 5 minutes without risking serious and permanent damage." He goes on to say, "Exercise does not provide oxygen and food. It provides greater access to oxygen and food via stimulated blood vessels...that penetrate deeper into the tissues of the body. The more you exercise, the more tissues you can feed and the more toxic waste you can remove. That's why exercise improves the performance of all functions." We should know the benefit of exercise it actually makes us smarter. If you spend time with colleagues, incorporate energizing brain breaks into your activities so you can see and feel how oxygenated blood flow helps you to concentrate and learn more. |

Hi Josue! Thanks for your report on the positive effects of exercise to the brain. I really loved this topic because of my recent personal experiences. I've actually experienced the changes that exercise can make in educational activities. Up until last semester, I didn't get any regular exercise whatsoever, and I often felt unfocused and drowsy during my classes (unrelated to the amount of sleep I got). However, after incorporating exercise into my daily routine this semester, I've found that my mind was way more focused and during classes. Therefore, I fully agree with you on this topic! :) Nice work!

Hi ,Josue! Absolutely agree with you! I highly recommend exercise to people in daily life. Why do people not understand how important and precious it is to exercise in daily life? Just because they don't think they have enough time to do it? Or it's not that necessary in their life? Whatever they say, There is no one but one who does not. Let's become a fresh, healthy, and smart people together!

Absolutely Kapur, your initiative of cleaning your lively-hood is a great idea. and is an exercise in one way or the other. But how many are willing to do so?! the problem still to convince people and make them understand how this influence their daily life.

Actually, we may conduct some cleaning drives. This is also a good exercise. Well reported.

Such attitude is common Josue , but the terrible thing is that people rush on doing exercises in case they are sick instead of preventing them before.

Welcome Bro, How is the situation in Ghana? are people having the same mindset that physical exercise concern only over-weighted people?

That's a nice report friend

Sure Ghislain! particularly in developing countries. One day, i was walking with my cousin and a skinny guy pass-by running, then she roughed and told me what a heck is he doing. Most of the people think that over-weighted people are the only one to exercise. what is your review?

Great experience Josue, It seems that one can live eternal if he or she practices those exercises. There is a long journey of sensitizing individuals to involve in exercises
