by CARLOS JR. DEGAMO | 27-09-2017 14:41 recommendations 2

A day-long Seminar which was held at the DENR Multipurpose Hall, Diego Silang St., Baguio City which was also called as the ?Philippine Clean Air Act (RA 8749)? with Department of Environment and Natural Resources - CAR (DENR-CAR) as the sponsoring agency of the event. They discussed about the current air condition of Baguio-La Trinidad-Itogon-Sablan-Tuba-Tublay (BLISTT) area. It aims to unite and make representation of the situation of the city of Baguio alone. We are positive that through the cooperation of all, we can make the city revive the quality of air that is suitable for healthy living. We need help of all individuals, institutions and agencies to decrease the carbon emission to the air. The seminar aims to raise awareness for the emerging needs of protecting and conserving our natural resources, which was participated by secondary and tertiary schools around Baguio City.

Hi, Carlos! Thank you for your report on the recent seminar to raise awareness about the 'Philippine Clean Air Act'. I strongly believe that environmental education is very effective in raising awareness and encouraging everyone to participate in protecting the environment. This seminar sounds like a similar type of program, and I hope that this can have a positive effect on the citizens of Baguio City!

Interesting! Thanks for sharing! I'm curious to know what the primary cause of pollution in Baguio is though?
