Environment include we and our surroundings. The endless land, plants, animals, water and all other form of organic or inorganic entities around us make up our environment. We and our environment are closely linked with each other since the beginning of time and it is critical to maintain a balance with our eco-system. Various environmental organizations including Tunza and UNEP are continuing to pour in their efforts and their views towards saving environment in many ways. These ways include practical demonstrations on aspects on saving our environment such as proper disposal of wastes, stopping wastage of drinking water and careful use of energy. Scientists in many journals referred to the interlinking aspects of our environment which are the atmosphere, the hydrosphere and the lithosphere. The balance between these three systems is absolutely essential in order for the life forms on earth to thrive. Researchers in field of biology refer to biological environment which is full of living organisms as the biosphere. Environmentalists in general refer to the socio-cultural, economic and organizational environment which once again is linked to our larger eco-system. Our environment may be defined as "the sum of all social, cultural, economical, biological, physical and chemical factors surrounding the 'man' to give necessary protection to him" [1]. Distinctly, there are two types of environment. The natural environment consists of air, water, wastes, radiations of all natural types, earth, wildlife and living amenities etc. These occur naturally in our surroundings and are not man made. The second type of environment is man-made and that includes housing, technology, products, transportation, facilities, establishments and urbanization. Both these environmental types are assumed as resources and are exploited by man to achieve their needs. This exploitation over time has reached a level which has caused severe damage to the existence of these resources and their future is threatened due to the excessive consumption. The emotional, intellectual, or physical relationships with mother nature is eroded due to this consumption which is causing all sorts of environmental issues globally – climatic changes, pollution, diseases and disappearance of species, just to name a few. Thus, humans are an integral component of this global ecosystem, which depends on them much as they depend on it. There is no survival for the human race without the environment they live in. It is to preserve this basic and fundamental need is the responsibility of every human being in this world. References: 1. http://environment-pollutionbywagner.blogspot.in/ 2. Thank you for your report on the harmony between us and the environment. I think that the topic is a very important one, and we must all keep in mind that we are part of the environment and cannot exist without it. This topic shows exactly why preserving and protecting our environment is mandatory, and it only makes sense that we are passionate about it. I hope that your thoughts will someday be shared by the whole world. I admire your efforts to spread awareness about this topic via the internet, like you've done by writing this report. I look forward to your continued actions in the future as well. :) Well done!

Hi, Sudarshan! Thanks for your report! Your report reminds me of UN's SDGs(sustainable development goals). There are 17 global goals with 169 targets among them for sustainable development which are based on 5p(People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, Partnership). Now the day of indiscriminate developments is finished. We have to remember sustainable development to fulfill improvement of human life and preservation of our environment. Related to your report, I would like to say that harmony between the natural environment and man-made environment(maybe facilities or infrastructure) is important not only for the growth of our life but also for our environment.
