Hello Tunza Eco Generation members! Before, I told you about my school club, 'Earth Kids TRIS' in last month's article. This month, we had 1 meeting every week and until now we have done 4 meetings and it was great.

Our first meeting was on November 8th, we had a brief introduction about ourselves, what is your name, what hobbies you have, and in one of the world-wide problems such as gender equality or war, what problem are you most interested in? There were lots of problems we were interested in, global warming, Thailand's trash problem, gender equality, war etc. Afterwards, we debated about what should we do in the future. We came up with a great idea which was deciding a topic each week and debating about it with materials such as articles, videos.

Our second meeting was on next week, November 15th. Before we started our meeting, with a recommendation from our club teacher Mr.Zimmer, we watched a documentary called 'Before The Floods'. It was a very interesting documentary about what was happening on Earth, global warming and climate change, and people who disagreed that global warming was fake. For me, it was a great motivation to stand up to the world and shouting out how global warming was affecting us. After watching the documentary, we had a simple debate about global warming.

Third meeting, November 22nd, our second meeting with the topic ?Global Warming?, we prepared a lot of materials to debate. Our main debating question was 'Is Global Warming real or fake'?. Most students thought it was real. Some students brought CNN articles, Youtube videos about the serious threat from global warming. But, there was this student who did not think global warming was real, and he had materials too. It was a very educating and valuable time for us. We all got to know more about this problem by debating.

November 29th, Our fourth meeting was held. Before we debated, I told our club about 'Tunza Eco Generation' and told them Tunza Eco?s work for world-wide students, people. They were very impressed. After that, We debated with this question 'Is war and terror right to do'?. Our topic was 'Terror, War'. Everyone said it was wrong because even though the reason may be true, there is no reason to threaten or hurt innocent people. I thought as that too. But, I told our club members what would a person who actually has dissatisfaction to the world might think this was the right way.

Until now, we have only debated and discussed but did not take action to solve this in how students could solve. We will plan and discuss and take more and more action for our world, Earth.

Hi, Rock! I was so excited to see this post, since I was looking forward to hear about the meetings of Earth Kids TRIS. It's awesome to see that the club activities have started now, and that you guys have been having regular meetings every week. The club meetings sound fun and exciting, and it's great that Earth Kids TRIS is covering many different topics. I wonder if there will be any incorporation of different activities as well, such as speeches, presentations, or projects :) That would be fun, too. Great work, Rock! I'll be looking forward to more postings.
