Living along Laguna Lake

by Bam Azores | 31-08-2013 23:41 recommendations 0

Laguna Lake is one of the biggest lakes in Asia and it is surrounded by several towns.

Yesterday we took a drive along the road that is next to Laguna Lake. We just came from the cremation of my grandmother so we were sort of sad as we took the long road. It was our first time because someone just told my dad that it was a better way to get home without traffic.

But what struck me was the houses that were built along the lakeshore. It was just houses all along the way and many of them were cement houses. I thought about where their septic tanks might be and I was imagining that they might not even have septic tanks because they were so close to the lakes. My imagination was telling me that the poop and urine was probably going straight to the lakes. Not a good thought!

I hope the government is doing something to make sure that Laguna Lake is being kept clean.  But from the way it looks I am not having a good feeling about it!
