Ego-Generation becomes Eco-generation |

Last year I became the member of the 19th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors Program (Tunza Eco-generation). Did it change me? Am I different now? I can confidently say that I've changed. We've all changed. I couldn?t say that before, perhaps I was a bit selfish. I live in a rich country, and I have been a part of Ego-generation: only thinking of my problems: school, exams, daily routine. But since I became a member of Tunza Eco-generation, I am more interested in global issues and the world around me. I?ve started to read more about it. I realize now that in today's world there are a lot of problems, and also there are a lot of problems in Taiwan. I began to think how to solve these problems. Thanks to TUNZA Eco-generation, I gradually turned from Ego-Generation into Eco-generation! Thank you for providing this opportunity to become a part of the planet! Now all members? mission is to work towards a world where human coexists harmoniously with nature. Keeping up with the global trends in environmental movements and standards is challenging. It requires a solid strategy of environmental care and social responsibility. I will continue to conduct environmental protection work such as Reef Check, Coastal Cleanup, environmental education activities in Taiwan. There are many ways that can make our Earth a better place. Simply spread the word, take part in an environmental activity, sign the pledge, write a letter, and say NO to sole use of plastic! Thank you for your attention!
P. S. This is my painting. |

It's really motivating to see how Eco-Generation is transforming lives, one at a time! Coming from a privileged lifestyle, I too was egoistic and didn't care about world issues during my school years. But now with more exposure, I have started caring deeply about issues that envelope our world.
Thank you for sharing your experience Liza. Keep going.

Hi, Lisa! I'm so happy to hear about how you've grown through your activities as a TUNZA Eco-Generation Ambassador! I remember how you've been actively participating in various presentations and other activities since the very beginning of your time as an ambassador, and I never would've guessed that you had once thought of yourself as an 'Ego-Generation' :D I want to always root for you and your future environmental activities. Also, thank you for your beautiful picture. It's so warm and full of love, showing that we are one on this Earth :)

Hi Elizaveta! I highly agree with your opinion. It's important to realize various problems happening around us. And our mission(as your expression) is to face it and take a responsibility for solving it.
And your painting of harmony in ecosystem is so nice!
