Aphids

These are sap sucking insect that destroy crucifers mainly.
They destroy by three method 1.sap sucking
2.diseases transmission by working as vector
3.sooty mould formation by secreting honey dew
The below is the view of aphid under hand lens.

    Hi Dibya, Thanks for sharing picture of sap sucking insects. They harm and damage crucifers by various methods. They weaken plants, resulting in leaf distortion and lower root yields. We have to think about how to reduce them and protect crucifers from damage. Thanks for sharing :)
