Throwback: CLEAN-UP DRIVE ?SALAKNIB TI WAIG?

by CARLOS OCON DEGAMO JR. | 07-06-2018 14:30 recommendations 1

St. Joseph water clean-up drive activity had been conducted by the PSSE-UCSC last August 9, 2013 that had been participated by PSSE-UCSC members and some CEA students who with same goal with us of helping the environment especially the waterway bodies to revive and get back their acceptable condition. The wastes that are being disposed at the creek are an eyesore and a risk to the public health. The wastes are obstructing the flow of water which causes the natural water level to rise and will result to flood. PSSE members had united and reduced the waste from the creek. The team collected 10 sacks of solid wastes which are later collected or picked-up by the City Environment and Parks Management Office (CEPMO) of Baguio City for the inventory and proper documentation for the Balili River System Revitalization Coalition (BRSRC).

    Hello Carlos
Nice work done in the 2013! Solid wastes are a big problem and it is also a problem that occurs right near us. It would be nice for everyone to clean up the wastes that comes in to sight!

    HI Carlos!

Than you for presenting this report to us, I am really impressed at the resilience of the members that helped you with this event! As I am a Water resource protector myself, it is good to see that other people have the urgency to clean and protect the water resource as much as I do!

    Lovely report!
