On the occasion of World Environment Day, Nepalese Youth For Climate Action- Lamjung in collaboration with UNDP Nepal organized variety of programmes, most targeted at cautioning young people against rampant use of plastic. School children bearing messages on the theme #BeatPlasticPollution walked on mass rallies and several competitions featuring innovative recycled/reused products were also organized in schools. Junkyard Competition was also organized for reusing the thrownout garbages and wastes. Celebrations also included an interaction between the Mayor of the Sundar Bazar Municipality Janak Raj Mishra, school teachers and UNDP representatives on the importance of educating and engaging youth in the fight against plastic, rounding off with discussion on possible sustainable alternatives.

Hello Kushal
I believe in the power of inspiration in early stages of our life. These activities must have been good stimuli to the students! I also remember myself as a youth participating certain acrivities concerning recycling and renewable energy and that really brought me up till now:)
Always thanks for sharing!

Hello Kushal, it seems like students who participated in the campaign do love activities they are doing :) And is that PET bottle alike stuff gonna be something that lets us know of osmotic pressure? It looks very complex and students in the pic seem so concentrated to learn something.
Good to see students in #BeatPlasticPollution campaign again, and please share more stories about different campaigns too with us!

Hello Kushal, Nameste
This is great work, this type of work help to provide a brief knowledge of environment conservation, climate change and pollution to many students. If a student is aware, he can aware his family.
