Hello from Uzbekistan! As I had to write a report about my major, I am here and want to share a little secret with you all: I don't study in the field of Environment or anything related to this ambassadorship. I am just an active young leader, senior at a high school, who is very passionate about the world around. I am studying foreign languages in the Asaka academic lyceum, in Andijan region, Uzbekistan. After hearing about Tunza Eco Generation in 2016, I decided to become a part of a wonderful family and visited the website. I found out about the ambassadorship program opening in 2 months and prepared my application form for a long time. I got it checked and revised by couple of people until I became an ambassador. I was not a "green" liver before joining this platform and was just an ordinary Uzbek girl, who would litter and throw the trash at any point in the street. I look back at 2016 and realize how I have changed through the years. Now I am a positive environmentalist, who feels ashamed to throw a plastic bottle on the way home. |

Good job Xilola! Everyone learns something as they move forward in their journey but what is important is that people should implement what they learn in their attitudes, to ensure an improvement in their mindset. It is great how you are learning from your experiences to change your views about the environment. :D

Dear Xilola! I understand your feelings very well. Once I myself did not think much about the fact that something depends on me. But now, like you, I think otherwise. The ecological situation on the planet depends literally on each of us.

Hi Xilola! I also learnt a lot about environmental issues from this platform just like you. Tunza Eco-gen has helped me so much in gaining new knowledges and insights. Let's be more literate of what's going on now in our environment! Keep doing good habits for the Mother Earth! :)

Hi Xilola!
I admire how young you are and the fact that you made it a point to start now and become an environmentalist irrespective of your knowledge in reference to living green. I believe that it is all in the mind on how one decides to live in accordance to nature and you don't need a degree to have a changed mindset, it starts now.
I am happy for you and happy that you made the switch!

Very well Xilola. You don't have to study environmental science to be relevant here. Tunza Eco Generation is essentially a place to learn. Environment belongs to us all.
