Hello Dibya
Our lives are indeed interwoven and connected with every aspect of our tradition and culture!
One mat making method really gives us a life lesson of what attitude we should keep to coexist with our beloved nature :)
Thanks for the report!

We call ourselves people of modern era but I think it??s better if we call ourselves of the polluted era. Lucky are those people who enjoyed these mats. These arts should get enhanced and a huge respect to arts man for preparing these fresh and life rejoicing natural materials.

Hey Dibya!
Nothing withstands the test of time like natural, hand-man items such as these. The fact that they are biodegradable means that alot of thought was put in with regards to the environment. What is taken from it is put back once it has been used to it has been used to its full potential.
You are right when you say that our cultures and traditiins are interlinked with us just as the mats.
Thank you for sharing this Dibya!
