Hand made eco friendly items!!

by Dibya Bhatta | 04-01-2019 23:50 recommendations 1

Few weeks back I visited the beautiful village of Barkulpur as a translator to the  group of Norwaigiann students.
They welcomed us with a smile ,garland, rangoli and tharu delicacy.
More beautiful than their welcome was their way of making these eco friendly stuffs.
I could see girls of tharu community making these beautiful
Eco-frien Handicrafts made out of grasses collected from nearby forest!😍
They don't need to go to school to learn this.
They learn this art in their own home!
Way of life and source of income for our talented tharu girls!
They make baskets, piggy Banks, carpets, mats and even dining table out of these grasses. They Also Design stuff As per order. There are severall household involved in making these stuffs and there are collection center to collect and supply to large cities of Nepal like butwal,kKathmandu,Pokhara etc.
You can decorate your home and your table with these beautiful stuffs!
If anyone of you wish to buy these artifact and promote them I can help you connect with them!😊
These kind of stuff can help reduce the severe problem of plastic pollution that is going on world wide!!
It is totally eco friendly.
If we can commercialize this technical knowledge we can reduce plastic pollution to great extent.

What a superb handmade item to be!
Masterpiece does not always exist in some splendid and expensive art exhibition, but such handmade goods also show us effort and time used to make them as 'true artifacts'
    Thanks for your report

    The artifacts are really beautiful!
It got quite hard to see these hand made delicacy nowadays as the industrialization has brought standardization and mass production in most products.
