With this new year, I would like to write about something positive concerning my country. While it is true that we still have a long way to go when it comes to the environment, I also have to admit that we have come a long way. Education about good practices concerning the environment has not fallen on deaf ears only. For instance, some people I know have taken the initiative to start green businesses such as art made out of garbage and also such as buildings made from recycled materials.
These people have heeded the warning that we have been told about our planet being in need of some TLC. I appreciate that while some of us are yet to make our mark as people who love the Earth, others have already started. The long way that we still have to go does not seem so bad now that there is actually action that points in a positive direction. I love my country, I love the continent and world i live in and I would love future generation to see it as I do now and fall in love with it too. So let me take some time to say thank you to Tunza, the ambassadors and everyone on this platform who stands up for the good health of our world. I am very grateful!!
