Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Zaretskaya. I would like to draw your attention to my 9th report related to HOW TO SAVE OUR ENVIROMENT. The theme for our report of this month is about The campaign or project for this year to prevent climate change or make our local community better off than last year concerning environmental problems. My campaign is eco-marathon related to offline school education. The last meeting of our ecological club was devoted to the topic HOW TO SAVE OUR ENVIROMENT. All students of our class have prepared different reports on this problem. We invited teachers and parents to our event, which took place at our school Yongchun Senior High School (Taipei, Taiwan) in early January. We talked about the fact that people are the part of nature. As our civilization develops, people become stronger than nature. But it is not so simple. People learned to influence our environment. They create different household items, medicines, food. So, they pollute the atmosphere. There are even ozone holes. People are not careful. They burn forests, pollute rivers. But nature doesn’t forgive it: a lot of incurable diseases appeared. There are also typhoons, tsunamis, acid rains. But I think nature won’t destroy all of us (though… dinosaurs disappeared). I think that people should think of the future because our planet is in our hands! We also discussed that the world is getting hotter because of us. When the sun shines, everything gets hotter and the dirt stops the hot air from going up to the sky. Because the hot air has nowhere to go, everything gets hotter. Our world is warmer than it was one hundred years ago. Tropical countries may become drier and the people who live there won’t be able to grow enough food. Ice in cold areas is gradually turning into water because of higher temperatures. When this happens, the sea levels become higher. Some towns near the sea may have a problem soon. We can help if we stop making the air dirty but we must do something fast! We are sure all is in hands of people. We call up (it was the slogan of our event): Protect environment, save nature! Hello Elizaveta, another series of campaign for your serial education project!
Just like Gyeongrin mentor said below, we are (almost) fully responsible for huge environmental pollution or issues. Time and cost we have used to make our livings like that are not as big as we expected and this still lingers in minds of many people, finally leading to bigger environmental problems.
Thanks for sharing what you have done :) Let us not forget 'our environment'!

Wishing you all the best for your eco marathon. Keep up with your campaign and hope you will be able to influence large number of people with this campaign.
I agree with you that we human are responsible for of the problems arising today and are likely to increase if we continue to degrade our environment in the same way. 'We are sure all is in hands of people'. This line surely makes us think that we must Act Now and Act Together to protect our planet.

It is a shame that most of the destruction that has caused environmental degradation is caused by human beings. Our history shows that unlike any other animals who live in harmony with our nature, humans tend to change and use nature not considering the after results.
Hope our actions could bring awareness and differences to this world :)
