Trees also play a critical role in absorbing the greenhouse gases that fuel global warming. They give Oxygen to breathe out. Trees are so much important. Every one of us know how important trees are to us too. But Do we really contribute to its protection? Is the current question that receives negative answer from most of the people saying, “No, I haven’t.” Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. Although trees and forest are so much important to us, the deforestation is quite high the world. The world’s rain forests could completely vanish in a hundred years at the current rate of deforestation. The Earth loses 18.7 million acres of forests per year, which is equal to 27 soccer fields every minute, according to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The scale of tree destruction, much of it done illegally, poses a grave threat to tackling both climate change and the massive global decline in wildlife. Bibek Lamsal, a student of agriculture at Gokulesor Campus has sent a photo of his participating in afforestation campaign for the Environmental Awareness Campaign, “Small Act Great Impact”. He is also the Joint secretary of Team Nepo, Baitadi. Team Nepo has initiated a campaign, ‘Me and My Tree’. They have started the afforestation campaign of planting trees at different part of the Baitadi starting from the afforestation campaign in Shree Sanatan Dharma Secondary School where more than 250 plants are planted.
Planting is a tree is just a small act but it can create a huge impact in the society and for the protection of our planet earth. I do request everyone to plant a tree. Hello Kushal, another great campaign with specific statistical points that we have to remember!
Acknowledging oneself about how she or he is responsible for environment around us basically can contribute to start new environmental campaigns or make common platforms to prevent further environmental problems.
Hope your 'Small Act Great Impact' series can keep moving onto next steps, looking for other participants to take participation more and more!

Trees are a valued factor in the environment and it is even impossible to imagine life without it.
However, with industrialization, many people have forgotten the importance of trees and it is great of you to continuously bring this matter on to raise awareness of the problem!

Indeed, the simple action of planting a tree is a small but very significant on the environment and afforestation efforts.
