by Rock Lee | 10-02-2019 21:11 recommendations 0

To celebrate, mark World Soil Day, Thailand launched the Centre of Excellence for Soil Research in Asia (CESRA), the hub to promote protecting soil and sustainable soil management.

The Land Development Department in Thailand has being leading to motivate and raise awareness of soil resource care. But, most Thai people still pollute soil without thinking twice.

Not only this, lots of NGOs and groups had events on World Soil Day. Practical Action, an NGO working on soil care hosted the best World Soil Day event. Also, in Chulalongkorn University, a popular university in Thailand had a exhibition on soil.

“Solving and preventing soil pollution should be the top priority” said Jong-Jin Kim, Deputy Regional Representative of FAO Regional Office for Asia and Pacific. Tackling the problem will maintain healthy soil and ensure food safety.

Pollution. Pollution is one of the biggest threats that are making global warming, climate change, soil pollute. Thailand is trying to take up a step so other citizens and people can get motivated. Let’s join Thailand together, for the World!
