Climate Change/Abnormal Climate£Global Climate Change

by Yu Hsuan Huang | 12-03-2019 22:58 recommendations 0

Topic of global climate change can first understand the external costs of climate change for the global economic changes and environmental changes. After that, we can find the impact of the average temperature rise on plants, animals, oceans, land and other ecosystems by increasing the average temperature year by year, and give examples to prove the damage of the climate change to the earth. It then cites other countries' main actions on climate change, as well as specific strategies for how to deal with climate change in the future.

First, we can cite the climate change report made by the US federal government. From the federal government's climate change report, understand that climate change is closely related to the overall financial value of the US government.

For example, the climate change¡¯s spending on the US federal government has caused the United States¡¯ own financial losses to be nearly $400 billion since 2015, and this is a huge figure for the US federal government, if Indulgence of this situation, the United States at the end of the 21st century, the average temperature of the United States will rise by 1.6 to 6.6 degrees, which will not only affect the local climate of the United States, but also affect Europe, Asia, and even Africa.

Climate is not only changed in this way. If it is predicted from the future, it can be known that the sea level will rise by 18~59 cm, and the Arctic ice layer will melt completely, resulting in the overall temperature change in the high latitudes, causing more cold air masses and heat waves. Affecting existing ecosystems.

Secondly, based on the above elements of climate change, we can further cut through the ecosystem of plants, animals, oceans, and terrestrial ecosystems to prove that climate change has a certain impact on the global ecosystem.

From the case of plants, can understand that the changes brought about by climate change are that plants do not grow at a specific altitude, but because of the temperature rise, they climb to an altitude higher than before. And the literature confirms that for every degree of increase in average temperature, the germination days of plants will be five to seven days earlier, and this will change the photosynthesis, respiration, and energy flow of the plants themselves.

Then we discuss the effects of climate change on animals. According to research, animals have physiological cycle changes due to temperature differences. For example, animals that determine the trait ratio due to differences in temperature will produce only a limited number of same-sex species at specific temperatures. If the same-sex species have a gender difference than the heterosexual species, then there will be restrictions on the sustainable development in the future, and learn from the time of the migratory birds that the migration time of the migratory birds begins early and returns to the poles. There are high altitude areas to move. Because the sea temperature rose, it caused the coral bleaching and the narrowing of the wetland range, which caused the ecosystem to die.

Finally, we can reverse the above-mentioned climate change forms, namely petrochemical fuel divestment, green energy, and conservation ecosystems, through the three major issues.

Petrochemical fuel divestment is to slowly withdraw the energy share of a petrochemical fuel originally used by a country and introduce new green energy to make up the gap generated by the previous energy.

Green energy uses wind, solar, and biomass energy to make the country's energy ratio gradually become a sustainable situation that does not compete with the environment.

The Ecosystem is a community environmental protection group that rescues animals that should be invaded by Tier 2 industries or Tier 1 industries so that they can live in the old environment forever.

    Hello Yu Husan Huang!
Thank you for your beautiful report. I like how you address the climate change problem
by showing the disastrous affects it can bring to the earth and then a plausible way to stop this. Surely, the biggest problem of climate change is the rise of global temperature and also a rise of sea level. And then, this changes can disturb the ecosystem including plants, animals and human. We have to realize that human and all the living things are connected on the earth.
Thanks again for your great report! Keep it up!

    Hi Yu Hsuan,

Thank you for writing this wonderful report, you have did an amazing job in pointing out how climate change has different impacts on various parties such as the government and the ecosystem. I also believe that petrochemical fuel divestment is important in a sense that we should turn our eyes to more green and eco-friendly envery to save our environment, and I am glad that you've highlighted this point in this report.

Please keep up the report and I am sure other ambassadors will also be impressed with your report! :)
