Current Situation of Water Pollution in Taiwan |

Water pollution in Taiwan is an external cost that occurs everywhere. How to solve such a social phenomenon is a matter of environmental protection and more consideration. Therefore, this study will focus on pollution, first of all, because of which pipelines lead to poor water quality, the second section is the degree of pollution in the area, and finally the impact on species and the proposed solution to water pollution. As for the main water pollution research site in Taiwan, as the experimental group of this study, to illustrate the danger of water pollution to the environment and species. First of all, we can first explain which sources of pollution from water pollution come from, and according to the academic literature, we can understand that water pollution can be divided into three major pipelines: domestic sewage, industrial sewage and livestock sewage. The scene of entering the river is not only the result of Taiwan, but the water quality problems shared by the whole world. As the proportion of different years of sewage is different, it is known whether the industrial content will affect environmental maintenance. Secondly, we learned from the data provided by the Environmental Protection Department of the Executive Yuan in 1987 that domestic sewage accounts for 25%, industrial wastewater accounts for 51%, and livestock wastewater accounts for 21%. It can be understood that in this era, the era of industry as the main environmental focus, and with the changes in industrial transformation and economic structure, can be confirmed from the data transformation in 2004. Domestic sewage accounted for 50% of the year, industrial wastewater accounted for 24%, and livestock wastewater accounted for 26%. Knowing that the city's living function is getting better, it will increase the proportion of domestic sewage itself, but also because of the industrial transformation, but the demand of the first-level industry is still there, so the livestock waste water has an increasing trend. Finally, in the current era, the average domestic sewage accounted for 33.3%, industrial sewage accounted for 40.9%, and livestock wastewater accounted for 25.8%. It can be understood that industrial wastewater is always the main factor that brings about changes in environmental water quality. Therefore, we can continue the above data to explore the degree of pollution of industrial wastewater to the land and the impact on species. . At the level of pollution in the area, it can be known that 763.9 kilometers of rivers are polluted, and 25% of the rivers are heavy and moderately polluted. And in the Kansai Town of Hsinchu, Taiwan, it reached a record of two rivers polluted a day. Therefore, if the above data is integrated, it can be understood that the degree of pollution in the area is not theoretically stated. Uncontaminated rivers are still a large number of social phenomena, so as long as a small effort is made, water quality can be saved. Destruction, so that people in the future can enjoy a clean water source. But realistic data shows that excessive pollution is a major social disaster that affects the safety of thousands of people drinking water. Moreover, in the plants and fish in the water, it also reflects the accumulation of toxins and chemical pollution that we are not happy with. The damage on the plant is oil pollution, strong acid or strong alkali pollution, salt pollution, these three kinds of pollution will slow down the growth of the plant, and there is grease or chemical odor residue, or affect its water absorption capacity. In animals, the accumulation of trace toxicants produced by heavy metals, if spread in the food chain system, will bring too much toxins to the animals, causing the state of the animals to be affected, and even destroying the ecosystem. The final solution can be to use less environmentally harmful detergents, monitor industrial wastewater discharge status, and allow more people to invest in water quality maintenance operations so that pollution does not expand. Hi Yu Hsuan,
This is really a thorough report on Taiwanese water pollution issue. I think your report is particularly meaningful in a sense that it can be really related to that of Korea. As a matter of fact, Korea is also experiencing tough water pollution issue and adding on to that, we also have water shortage problem as well. Nowadays, Korean government is trying hard to educate citizens about water pollution and shortage and potential threats that we are facing at this moment. As you have written in the report, with massive efforts being put into the research, I believe Taiwanese government will eventually find a way to resolve this problem at hand.
This is really great and I cannot wait to read your next report.

Hello Yu Hsuan
In my country water is not as polluted as air, but it is quickly changing and I am worried.
We can also see that the number of deaths caused by polluted water is drastically changing around us and I think that everyone can relate to your topic.
thank you and keep up good work!
Green cheers from Tbilisi, Georgia.

Hello Yu Hsuan!
Thank you for your report that analyzed the current situation of water pollution in Taiwan very critically. In particular, I really like the way you traced back the portions of each sectors(livestock, industrial, domestic) wastewater use. Collecting data in time sequence and trying to figure out factors of data fluctuations is really a good way to analyze the environmental changes and to find out appropriate solutions.
In this sense, you did a wonderful job and I'm already excited to your next report dealing with Taiwanese environmental situations.

Hello Yu Hsuan
Thank you for such a detailed report. I really loved your report as you presented it with the datas and solution to the problem. Water is very essential component in our life and it isn't possible for us to survive without water. We must be responsible and mustn't pollute the water resources.
Keep writing beautiful reports.
We are eager to read more reports from you.
Green Cheers from Nepal
