FridaysForFuture / Climate Strike is a movement that began in August 2018, after 15 years old Greta Thunberg sat in front of the Swedish parliament every school day for three weeks, to protest against the lack of action on the climate crisis. She posted what she was doing on Instagram and Twitter and it soon went viral. This momentum named Climate Strike happened globally on 15th March.
NYCA Lamjung supporting the global march of Climate Strike conducted on Sundarbazar Lamjung with climate march around the sundarbazar area with thr banners, awareness photos.

Hello Kushal! I read that Greta was nominated for the Nobel peace prize. I would love to see this girl rewarded! She truly deserves it. Thanks for the report!

Great to see you and other Nepalese youth join this worldwide movement, Kushal. I also took part in this strike in Vienna. Let us hope that such protests and democratic push initiates political action that can avert climate change.

Thank you for sharing the information about climate strike that had a place just yesterday! In few years, there has been a lot of climate strikes and demonstrations among students to make their voice heard. I think it??s one of great ways to draw attention and make a change.
