Climate Change Climate change is the global phenomenon of climate transformation characterized by the changes in the usual climate of the planet (regarding temperature, precipitation, and wind) that are especially caused by human activities. As a result of unbalancing the weather of Earth, the sustainability of the planet¡¯s ecosystems is under threat, as well as the future of humankind¡¯s lives and economy. Official Definition of Climate Change NASA¡¯s definition of climate change says it is ¡°a broad range of global phenomena created predominantly by burning fossil fuels, which add heat-trapping gases to Earth¡¯s atmosphere. These phenomena include the increased temperature trends described by global warming, but also encompass changes such as sea level rise; ice mass loss in Greenland, Antarctica, the Arctic and mountain glaciers worldwide; shifts in flower/plant blooming; and extreme weather events.¡± Major Reasons of Abnormal Climate: Humans are increasingly influencing the climate and the earth's temperature by burning fossil fuels, cutting down rainforests and farming livestock. This adds enormous amounts of greenhouse gases to those naturally occurring in the atmosphere, increasing the greenhouse effect and global warming. Some of major reasons: -Solar Radiation -Milankovitch cycle -Greenhouse gases -Global warming -El Nino Southern Oscillation Effects of Climate Change: Global climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Glaciers have shrunk, ice on rivers and lakes is breaking up earlier, plant and animal ranges have shifted and trees are flowering sooner. Effects that scientists had predicted in the past would result from global climate change are now occurring: loss of sea ice, accelerated sea level rise and longer, more intense heat waves. Future effects: Some of the long-term effects of global climate change in the United States are as follows, according to the Third and Fourth National Climate Assessment Reports: -Change will continue through this century and beyond -Temperatures will continue to rise -Frost-free season (and growing season) will lengthen -Changes in precipitation patterns -More droughts and heat waves -Hurricanes will become stronger and more intense -Sea level will rise 1-4 feet by 2100 -Arctic likely to become ice-free Solutions for Climate Change: -Eat Smart, Go Vegetarian -Use Renewable Energy -Stop Cutting down Trees -Get charged up with renewable -Use Energy Wisely -Consume Less, Waste Less -Invest in Renewables -Make Your Lifestyle Greener -Get Involved In the Fight against Climate Change -Educate Future Generations More on: |

Hello Bharat!
Thank you for your well-organized report. Your report is containing a broad range of information from the concept of climate changes to how to solve it. It will be very useful for your readers who want to know the overall climate change issue. Your report will be even more helpful if you can link the causes of climate change with the solutions and give a brief explanation on how the solutions you suggested can help to solve the climate change.

Hi Bharat,
Thank you for this comprehensive report about the climate change and I really like your report because it is concise and easy to read. As you have pointed out the solution, I am very interested in reading what kind of actions you are doing to protect our environment. Could you please write about that next time?
Good report overall! :)
