Biodiversity has an equally important aspect of the sustainability of our green world. Back to my ordinary school life, when I did not know about an amazing platform Tunza, I did not have any clue what biodiversity is. I have not been interested in, yet now I am learning it. This is how self-study works! Now, I am as an active youth in my city, started writing articles about environmental issues and publishing them in newspapers. 22 of May is recognized as a day of biodiversity. The biggest proportion of issues are caused by biological factors. I am sure that when there's biodiverse nature, we shall develop the majority of industries, fields. It contributes to a satisfactory life. Because of oil, paper, fast food and many other consumptions we deliberately harm our nature. Tashkent, Uzbekistan is the city is lined with a grid of straight and wide streets and avenues, decorated with emerald green parks, gardens, fountains imbued with crystal strands...Tashkent Botanical Garden is a collection of nature from all parts of the world. In spring the garden is blossomed and is full of odours, in summer it is green and saves from heat, in autumn it is a really fabulous palette of colours from bright-yellow to dark-red. What do I want to tell is our city is biodiverse and still taking measures. For instance, in my leisure, I plant flowers. Hereby, I attach the photo. I believe by small acts, we will achieve big impacts. Would be thankful, if you shared your own opinions or tips to contribute to the biodiverse world. Thank you!

In the verse of industrialization people have forgotten biodiversity. We have to come back to ecosystem. And yes small act brings a huge difference.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience with us. Tashkent seems to be one of the greatest example of city with biodiversity. I guess it is the result of all the small acts done by citizens just as you have plated a flower in your house! Thank you for sharing your inspiring story!

Thank you for this concise report and I really like your beautiful pictures! I also have flowers and plants at my home just like you do! I believe although what we are doing looks trivial, they will eventually make the whole city 'biodiverse'! So let's keep up with our good work!
