Seed- origin of flowering plants!

by Asmita Gaire | 06-08-2019 15:13 recommendations 0

How would the world have been if there were no plants?
The origin of most of the flowering plant is seed. One seed results in number of seeds with productive production.

You reap what you sow. If you sow a qualitative seeds into the soil, you definitely can receive a productive returns, right? In this context, agriculturalist of our university collected seeds from farmers of their hometown. Students in our university are from different states, meaning thereby we have had seeds that come from all the states of country. These seeds are arranged in a order with their local name, scientific name and the address of the farmers from where seed is collected.

It's said that these seeds will be examined for germplasm. It will be use for studying and determining which varieties counts suitable and will be assigned to produce the productive varieties in more amount.

This is a good step. Food is life that comes from plant and it's seed which gives rise to plant and if it's a productive seed then with no doubt, the situation would be different in context of food security in nation.

    Hi Asmita,

Thank you for this interesting report about the seeds, and I think seeds are important as they are the 'origins' of all plants! It looks great that you actually took some time and studied it! :) Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

    Hey Asmita!

I hope you are well today my fellow ambassador!

It is true in the saying that you do reap what you sow and I'm still grateful that you use that in your report. I like how the students were assigned to collect different seeds from where they come from and I like how you gonna be using it for the germplasm experiment. I hope you going to give us an update on how the experiment will work out!

Thank you so much for the effort that you have put in writing this report I enjoyed reading this so much and I hope to read more of your work in the coming future!

Keep on holding the Fort Asmita!
    With gratitude,
    Ms Domingos

    Hello Asmita

Like what you said, we can't live without plants and inside seeds would be a tiny plant waiting for the right conditions to germinate. This is why we need to carefully study and examine seeds. Thank you for sharing your report with us! :)
