World Environment Day Creative Challenge

World Environment Day 2019 hosted by China on the theme Air Pollution. With the slogan to be a part of Solution, Not part of pollution, I organized World Environment Day Creative Challenge. With the motive to aware people about the theme of world environment day 2019, As Regional ambassador to Asia to Tunza EcoGeneration I organized this program where youths were asked to share their creative solution to beat air pollution and way they celebrated world environment day to create awareness among people, promote Tunza Ecogeneration and enhance environmental enthusiasm in youths and children. All the participants put forward their creativity taking a challenge to create the change they want to see and all the participants were provided with certificate of participation.

EIMUN 2019

Embracing the theme, “Engaging cooperation among youths of Indo Pacific Region to address sustainable development”, Youth Thinkers’ Society in collaboration with The US Embassy, Nepal embarked on its journey of sixth edition of Everest International Model United Nations on 15th July, 2019 at Hotel Crowne Imperial, Kathmandu, Nepal across 18 countries till 19th July with around 200 young diplomats from across 18 countries. I was glad to be one of the participants of this grand conference. As Regional Ambassador of Tunza Ecogeneration, we also strive towards empowering youths and children with enough skills and exposure for them to be proficient global environmental leaders, EIMUN 2019 was missioned to become a perfect space for young minds across the indo-pacific region to come up with astounding ideas; this being its first indo pacific installations and was perfect platform for me to engage and share the ideas of environmental protection and promote Tunza EcoGeneration among the youths from Various countries.

Small Act Great Impact

Taking my previous online initiative on “Small Act Great Impact” to the local level, As a Regional Ambassador of Tunza EcoGeneration I have conducted an “Small Act Great Impact” among the women group of Vyas- 12, Kamalbari, Tanahun. The Campaign was conducted to around 50 women of the community explaining about the small act they can do in their daily lives to bring a great impact in the environment. They were also explained about the impacts of climate change and use of pesticides. Our small acts have great impact on the environment. Awaring the participants about it, I presented on the waste management techniques they can follow, 3-R Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, Sustainable Use of the Available Sources, Turning off water tap and electricity when not in use, use bag instead of plastic, afforestation and many more. After the program was successfully complicated, beginning the positive impact of the campaign, the president of the women group planted a tree as an initiation of the plantation campaign.

Children Empowerment

I believe we should give the light of knowledge and opportunity for all. During my visit to home during my holidays, met a girl who didn’t go to the school. She didn’t have her parents and used to live with the maternal grandparents. Immediately a thought ran into my mind, Children are the future of the nation. If they don’t get proper education, how can they work for the achieving the sustainable environment. Then, I gifted her Tunza Pencils and Sticky Notepad and convinced her grandparent that she should be sent to school and feel glad that she has been sent to school now. Together We Can Bring the Change and Children and youth should work together bring us a sustainable future.

International Youth Day 2019

District Youth Council Lamjung in joint collaboration with different organizations of lamjung and localized bodies have come up with an interactive course of a week-long event to celebrate International Youth Day 2019. Youth Thinkers’ Society Lamjung is collaborating with the District Youth Council and various organizations for the events. As Regional Ambassador to Tunza EcoGeneration in collaboration with Youth Thinkers’ Society Lamjung will be conducting the “Afforestation Campaign” on 10^th August at Sundarbaazar, Lamjung to celebrate the week long campaign on International Youth Day. On the International Youth Day, I will be participating on Asian Agriculture Symposium 2019.
