Hi friends,
India is planning a nation-wide ban on single use plastic and it is set to commence from October 2nd, 2019.

Indias's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is leading efforts to scrap such plastics by 2022, is set to launch the campaign with a ban on as many as six items on October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

These include plastic bags, cups, plates, small bottles, straws and certain types of sachets, said the officials

Let us all look forward for this single use plastic ban in India.

    Hello Arjun

Thank you for sharing this great news about upcoming campaign. As we all know, plastic products are one of the biggest threat to the environments. A campaign to ban and replace these products will be very helpful in reducing plastic waste. I wish the success of this campaign!
