[Feature][free report] Who am I to change the world

by Yeva Stepanova | 01-09-2019 04:58 recommendations 0

Who am I to change the world?
"Who am I to change the world" 7.6 billion people say. ⠀
Should there be only 10% damage?
Imagine you are on an island. Around nobody. You are waiting for rescuers. To your island trash, plastic, metal. Day, two, three. The amount of garbage is growing. You go to the islands deep in the island. You continued to postpone the cleaning and hope that you have a helicopter and great opportunities. THEY know that you pay taxes,
Does it resemble anything? ⠀
This is this attitude: "I am, and they are." Shifting responsibility, hope. Constant pressure and instant actions from "them" - large companies.
But the truth is that there is no ¡°them." There we are! We are human civilization. There are no bad and good, black and white. We are responsible for everything on the planet. We give rise to demand. ⠀
And what to do? ⠀
Change yourself and the world around in small steps. Speak, not stand by, and be an example. ⠀
We sponsor a business and support a linear economy. We sponsor everything, as if without realizing what we are paying for. ⠀
Plastic tubes, 46% are abandoned fishing nets. Who eats fish is also responsible for this plastic. ⠀
We buy non-recyclable packaging in the store - we sponsor the production of this packaging. ⠀
Meat and dairy products - responsible for the elderly in the forests,
Buy a T-shirt for $ 2 - sponsor slave labor conditions. ⠀
We, not "they"! ⠀
And we can change this world! ⠀
Even in one small step. Problems with studying, studying, studying and searching for goods! ⠀
If we all start to make it difficult for the seven billionth wave of change to be overlooked.

    Hello Yeva

You've made very good points in your reports! Most of all, I like the way you emphasized how we should change our perspective and stop shifting the responsibilities to other. We should always keep in mind that a change can start from ourselves. Thank you for sharing this thought-provoking report! : )

    Hey Yeva,

Your example of being alone in an island that has been polluted in its surroundings is a very interesting example. We do need to realise as a humanity that we are responsible for standing up and cleaning after ourselves. And I like how you mentioned that we're the ones who sponsored pollution, we sponsor non plastic packaging, we sponsor the fish industry and sponsor other Industries and it is time we realise that we are the ones who need to step up and not be blaming companies and big Industries alone.

Thank you for making this I aware to each and every single one of us.
