---|
by Justice Obiri | 23-09-2019 10:09 0 |
It is with no doubt that young people dominate the world¡¯s population now. Decisions taken today should involve the youth since they are the future. Young people can play an active role in protecting and improving the environment. They can make their environs more environmentally friendly by adopting, environmentally friendly practices, preserving water and electricity and recycling of different materials. When the youth are involved in the protection of the environment they cultivate positive behaviors and attitudes which would go a long way to have an impact on others as well. The youth must now be more focused on preserving the environment even when it would come with some personal sacrifices. The future is ahead of us and it is our actions we take today that would make the future a better place or a worse place. Furthermore, by applying the green knowledge at home and schools we can help make a market city, a greener city. Youth role is to implement recycling programs for used computers and electricity appliances. The youth have a role to play in environmental and conservation efforts that will improve livelihood and the change can only begin with you and me at this very moment. |

Hello Justice!
Since youths are the future, they are partly responsible for environment protection. I think the most important thing is to start acting right now. People can start from minor things like recycling well, using less plastics. Small but collective effort will eventually make huge difference in environmental problems.
Thank you for the great report!

Hey Justice!
It's Lisa again:)
You have some really nice arguments here!
I am completely on the same line as you are and I have a strong belief that youth empowerment and participation are key elements to resolving the climate issues we have. In order to empower the youths and encourage their participation in all levels, green knowledge is definitely a good way and also I believe that having a community as Tunza could help create a network between young green activists. That's why I think it's important for you guys to read each others' articles and communicate! Since you are all doing a great job on that, thumbs up for all of you!!!
Hope you all keep up that nice green work:)
Your Lisa
