On the 16th of this month, was the Eid-ul-Adha. It is the 2nd day of celebration for us, the Muslim. But, is also a day of "Sacrifice". We do animal sacrifice for the pleasure of our god, Allah.
In the lunar Islamic calendar, Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th day of "Zillhajj" and lasts for 3 days. In the international Gregorian calendar, the dates vary from year to year, drifting approximately 11 days earlier each year.
In Bangladesh we don't have slaughter houses. So, all the slaughtering must be done privately and at our home or near our home. Due to this process the Environment would be hampered highly due to the waste products of our animals.
 It was a major concern until recently, the govt. decided to give us Recycled Poly-ethylene bags for the collection of our waste. Thus, they have managed to lessen the amount of waste and helped the world to become a better place.
I am not including any photos except the poly-ethylene bag. Because, picture of slaughtering animals, can be quite brutal. Many have worked to stop this, terming it as "Animal-Cruelty". So..... :)
