Leader arenot borned by power, position, money; it is arised by the determination to make a way, go to the way and take other to the way. You have seen a varieties of leader like, political leader, influencer leader, autocratic leader, democratic leader, laisse faire leader, but they may be jackel woring the skin of lion. Leadership is courage, motivation, avidness for taking or influencing mass of people and use these collective force, multiplying the efforts, energy for bringing change. Some characteristic of good leader -Honesty and integrity -Inspire other -Good communicator -Committment and passion -Accountability -Creativity and innovation -Decision making capabilities Values that the youth organization must have to develop leadership in youth -Striving for excellence -Demonstrating the integrity -Activating the leadership -Enjoying participation -Living diversity -Acting sustainability Core leadership Skills -Self awareness -Communication -Influence -Learning agility "Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower" "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader" |

Such an interesting topic you have got here!
Yes, there are definitely some qualities for being a good leader and I cannot agree more especially with the self-awareness part.
A good leader must be able to raise self-awareness by himself or herself and not be restricted to certain stereotypes and frameworks. In other words, open-mindedness!!

Leadership is very important in every group, from a few people to the whole planet. With leadership, a group can have clear goal and collective effort toward that goal. And I agree with you that we all can a leader and influence other people in positive ways.
