¡°Changemaking is like a baboon: you risk life and limb getting tangled up in it, but boy does it look attractive from behind!!¡± Elliot Connor From my perspective, activism is simply the opposite of apathy, and as such the only solution to the world¡¯s most pressing environmental issues. It defines the mindset of the changemaker-conservationist, the likes of myself who strive to redefine the edifice of Human Nature in the present day. And, as with all things worth fighting for, it¡¯s not at all an easy change to make: shifting public dialogues away from egocentrism towards ecocentrism, turning dim awareness into appreciation and respect for other lifeforms. The strategy I preach lies in the 4 C¡¯s of Conservation: connection, curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Combined, they have the power to revolutionize people-powered preservation of natural spaces, bringing environmentalism into a new age with fresh potential to right past wrongs. But such outlooks are, broadly speaking, passed over by the community at large, and with this the possibility of generating sustained, scalable impact overlooked. It¡¯s a fine line that we walk between utter failure and far-reaching success, but at 17 my experiences have granted me insight into where the true path lies. I look forward to continuing discussions from the Tunza platform long into the future and seeing where our active lives might lead¡¦ Elliot Connor- Founder and CEO, Human Nature Projects |

Hello Elliot!
This is your mentor Lisa.
I have been seeing you actively engaging in environmental issues in Facebook:)
You seem to be very busy with everything!!!
It's so great to see you back in Tunza:)
Changemaking is like a baboon! What an awesome quote:)
I certainly agree and it does look attractive closely as well! I think it's such a beauty how people are more than welcomed to take a risk to change the world so that will and passion itself makes change making attractive. So why not participate?
Thanks for cheering up us all with some great words and I always support your work:)
Especially your awesome photos!
Green cheers for you:)

Hello Elliot
I totally agree with you about the importance of activism. Especially dealing with environmental issue, active participation of people is very important in making changes, since those issues cannot be resolved with the effort of small number of people.
Thank you for this great report, and I'm looking forward to read your next one.
