Campaign on Pollution! |

Hello everyone! On 22nd December, 2019 I gathered about 10 children from my community. This campaign aimed to inform the children about the hazards of pollution. First, I informed them about Tunza Eco-Generation and its objective. I informed them about my role as an ambassador of Tunza. I then told them how pollution affects our mother earth. I gave them various facts and told them about single use plastics. Next, I gave them various tips on what they could do to make a difference to the environment. After speaking to them, I gave them tunza merchandise which included post-its and paper pens.  I would like to thank the tunza team for providing the promotional goods and giving me an opportunity to spread awareness in the community.Location: Sharjah, UAE

It seems you have successfully finished your campaign!
I am sure that your students have learned much from you.
Often times, pollution seems like a very macro socio problem yet tiny little behaviors of individuals add up to make that huge social problem.
Hence, it is important that all of us as important contributors to the problem be aware of what we can do and be responsible for our daily actions.
In that sense, I think what you did here is really important!

Thank you for sharing your great environmental action. Your program is very meaningful in the sense that those children will not have much chance to learn about the impact of using single use plastics. It would have given them another, if not first, chance to think about their daily actions of using plastics and how they could work to preserve this nature.
