In English class last week, we found researches which showed what kinds of news attract and interest teenagers in America the most. According to the table above, it is obvious that in America teenagers care about environmental news the most and care about art, culture the least. As for other kinds of news, teenagers mostly care about society and the things happening all around the world. Unfortunately, this doesn’t really interest Taiwanese teenagers. As from my point of view, I think it is surely important to know what's going beside only your country. But what's more important, is the environment. If we don't care about the consequences after we make decisions, and gradually cause damage to the earth and lead it to massive destruction, we actually won't have even a tiny chance to watch TV, no need to say that we won't even be able to watch the news. So by telling these thoughts, it is clear that I care about environmental news he most. Thank you for your attention.

It's Lisa your mentor.
I have never new that the environment has been the hot potatoes for teenagers in the States. I mean, I am aware of the fact that many young people start to take interest in climate action and environment but I didn't know that it was their top interest!
Although I am not sure if Korean teens have their priorities in environmental issues as well but I can see that their awareness is rising. More students demand that they receive environmental education in school and I can see more and younger people participating in strikes for climate change.
It's great to see these changes!!

Thank you for the introduction to the statistical facts.
I'm little surprised that the American teenagers are interested in environmental news the most. I thought it would be sports, or entertainment news.
I think this is the result of the awareness programs they got in the school or at home. I hope more and more teenagers and adults are interested in environmental news, and the human society come together to preserve this precious planet.
