All of us have endeavoured to better the environment at some point in our lives. Whether this is through actively engaging in campaigns to preserve the environment, or simply using both sides of a paper before throwing it away, we have all contributed to the preservation of the environment. If I was told to nominate one person who has endeavoured to better the environment, it would be my mother. She would always accentuate the importance of preserving the environment, teaching me ways that I could protect it, such as saving electricity and water. Her active participation in Earth Day allowed the day to be an integral part of our lives. Viewing my mother as a role model, I was inspired to do the same. I actively began seeking out service opportunities relating to environmental preservation and environmental programs (like Tunza) to spread my interest in the environment with others. Through her help, I believe I was able to become the human I am today.

I am so glad that your mother motivated you to habituate saving the energy. With family members, you would enjoy to participate in doing so. As you mentioned in the introduction, many people indeed are working hard to save the earth. I hope more and more people participate in eco activities so that the earth would be healthy for a long time.

Thank you for the report about your mother! It is so wonderful that you and your mother had participated in the Earth Hour! It was a great inspiration to us. I think the easiest way to make someone become an eco-generation is the parent's help. And your mother made you participate in environmental things! At that point, your mother is a real environmental hero!
