Free report: Environment, a book with endless chapters

by Asmita Gaire | 10-06-2020 15:11 recommendations 0

Environment is itself a very big book or let me say a book with endless chapters and pictures. It is the only book which I never get tried of reading. Plants, animals, human, abiotic aspects and other aspects of environment are certain chapters accompanied by books which are also limitless.

Today, I am focussed on relating my kitchen with environment. We certainly have lots of by-products produced in the kitchen every day. How do you manage them?

I am sharing my certain activities.
1. Peels of vegetables, fruits and other products produced in my kitchen are decomposable and I disposed them in biogas plant daily.
2. After certain period of time, the processed manure from biogas plant comes out from outlet which is great source of nutrients for plants which I will be used to plant plants.
3. I have egg shells produced in my kitchen as by-products after using eggs contents. I use the manure from outlet of biogas plant in egg shell.
4. I sow some seeds in the egg containing manure and let it grow.
5. Oh yes, it requires water as well; how do you supposed I water them? Well, rice water that is produced after washing rice before cooking is rich in carbohydrates. Instead of letting it in water basin, I use them to water my seeds.
6. I watch those seeds in egg shells daily. And I am very happy that it has grown far in a beautiful way.
7. I have sowed seeds of chilly, coriander, Marigold and fenugreek. Now, chilly is ready for transplant.
8. Apart from this, I separate non decomposable waste and dispose them in dustbin for further processing by waste management team.

This is the way I managed to maintain my kitchen, kitchen by-products and environment. I have shared my stories in pictures itself. I entirely get lost when I am at home in these activities. what about you? Let's share!

What a nice analogy between the environment and the book. While reading this article, I could feel that how much care you've put into the environment. Thank you so much because caring the environment is really altruistic behavior.

Hello Asmita Gaire, this is mentor Taehyun!

Thank you for sharing so many tips on life! To protect the environment, I think we should do something meaningful in real life like you, not grandiose. Especially, there are lots of trash that can be used in an environmentally meaningful way, so we need to use it more actively! I really enjoyed reading it!
