Would you want to swim at a beach littered with trash? Of course not. And the animals who live in the ocean don't either. The difference is they don't have a choice. It's astounding how much of our trash finds it way into the ocean. Animals become easily entangled and trapped in our garbage, and it can destroy delicate sea life like corals and sponge. In addition, sea turtles, sea birds and small fishes often mistake plastic bag for their favourite food and as a result, they choke and clogged their digestive system thereby leading to death. Again, Debris can also damage important habitat like corals reef by breaking and smothering them. Coral which is serving as a marine base ecosystem, and impact here can be felt all the way to you and me. Some components of the garbages such as plastics bags are having harmful chemicals in them. Fish eat plastic, we eat fish, the question I will like to ask is,Can those chemical harm us? I will like to conclude by saying, we need the Ocean and everything in it . And the Ocean need us to keep it free of debris.

Hi Anthony Duxell Malle, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.
The sentence that states, "they cannot choose to live in the space without trash," hit me strongly. I feel really sad that animals should take responsibilities on behaviors and choices that humans have made. Unfortunately, animals cannot distinguish garbage from food and many animals are dying because of this. T.T I really hope humans endeavor to improve the marine environment...
Green Cheers!~

Hello Anthony Duxell Malle this is mentor Taehyun!
The problem of ocean waste is really serious. How many people would like to swim on the beach in the picture? But unfortunately, a lot of people on Earth have to live on these beaches. In this regard, we need to recognize that the people's problems are all of us, and find common, bold solutions to solve them.
Thank you for the report!
Green cheers!
