[free report] Recharge pits The level of groundwater is decreasing in major towns. Ancient towns like Kathmandu where citizens were dependent on ground water for their needs are experiencing drying of these water sources. The major cause for this depletion of ground water is disruption of water recharge cycle from rainfall due to concrete structure in land. To the solution the concept of recharge pits is evolving. The measure is called artificial groundwater recharge pits. These are well like structures covered by stones and gravels which make a porous soil for rainwater to accumulate as ground water. The pit can be constructed with any dimension but ideal size is considered to be 1-2-meter-wide and 2-3 meter deep. The site is excavated till weathered rock or fracture is reached. The pit once dug is filled with coarse gravel and sand. Larger stones and put towards bottom and smaller towards top. The leaves, layer of soil can also be used for covering the pit. Care should be taken to remove sediments accumulated by running water. Debris should be prevented and cleaned time to time to ensure water is being absorbed.

Hi Sachin Regmi, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.
Have you drawing the recharge pit by yourself? If you have, it looks so nice! If you have not, please don't forget to cite the website or sources that you've referred to.
It is weird and quite sad that some countries are experiencing flood, but others are experiencing heavy drought. If there is a balance, it will be really good, but the weather is getting more and more extreme. Therefore, people should endeavor to prevent climate change!!

Hello Sachin Regmi, this is mentor Taehyun!
Thank you for writing about amazing technology! The idea I've read and heard is that while it's good to use these high-tech technologies to solve the problem we're facing now, it doesn't sound as good as it sounds to us to use another technology to solve the depletion of groundwater. Wouldn't it be more desirable for us to restore the soil shape transformed by our actions? It's my personal opinion...!
Thank you for the report!
Green cheers!

Hello Sachin,
I hope you are safe and healthy, thank you for this information. Urbanisation has its advantages and disadvantages but i think its disadvantages should be addressed and solved before it outweighs its advantages.
Green cheers!
