[Free Report] Mobile Phone Recycling Hello fellow ambassadors. Recycling is a noble service to the mother earth. It helps to contain the growth of land-fills across the globe. As such, all waste may be recycled but it needs active participation of the community also. All the onus may not rest with the government & other civic bodies. This earth belong to us & we must contribute to make this a greener place to live. I am active in all sorts of recycling and mobile recycling is one of such activities. In this current technological era, we all keep on changing our mobiles phones to latest versions & old mobiles are just left in the drawers & cabinets of our houses. Recycling or reusing cell phones not only conserves these valuable materials, but it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions that occur during manufacturing and while extracting and processing virgin material. When phones are improperly disposed, chlorine, lead, mercury, bromine and other toxic chemicals in the devices adversely affect the earth. Devices release hydrocarbons into the air and leach toxins into grass, soil, trees, crops and groundwater when burned and dumped. In order to spread awareness and motivate others, I made it a point to collect all unwanted mobiles phones from my family, friends & neighboring communities. I used to educate them on the environmental hazards of improper disposal of mobiles. After the successful collection, I informed the local recycling agency NGO, Emirates Environmental Group [EEG] in Dubai. They arranged the collection & proper recycling of mobile phones. They have always appreciated my recycling efforts and decorated me with various awards & certificates many times in the past. Some of the accolades are being shared at this platform. Thanks for reading. |

Hello Rohan Kapur, this is mentor Taehyun!
Thank you for reading the article about your own experience of recycling your cell phone! You really put a lot of effort into the environment! The activities that I collected to recycle my cell phone, as well as in the past walking events, are really cool. Throwing away waste cell phones is bad because of the risk of soil pollution, but most of all, there are a lot of rare resources (tantalum, gold, etc.) and recycling is also very economically beneficial. I'll have to practice cell phone recycling a lot!
Thank you for the report!
Green cheers!
