Hello guys, today, I will introduce to you guys a Eco-friendly Mobility in Vietnam, it is called eScooter Sharing System.
eScooter Sharing System is first launchd in Vietnam at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology on November 21st,2016. This is the result of a joint project between Bosch in Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HCMUT), Danang University of Science and Technology (DUT), and Vietnamese-German University (VGU). Students working in this project are winners of the Green Challenge contest which was co-organized by Bosch in Vietna and the above mentioned universities in 2015. The best ideas from the contest were then put into implementation from the beginning in 2016. This project was sponsered more than 4 billion VND by Bosch. The next two systems were launched in December 2016 at VGU ( Binh Duong City) and DUT ( Danang City) respectively. This project based on a shared usage model, currently in a pilot phase, Bosch and the Universities offer a smart and eco-friendly alternative to commuting for end users. It is belived to inititate stronger cooperation and collaboration between businesses and academia to boost and solve challenges in public transportation and in environmetal protection. Extra information: Bosch first started in Vietnam in 1994, with national brands i Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, etc. In addition, it operates in Ho Chi Minh City a software and engineering R and D center.

Hello Nhu
It's your SJ mentor.
Thank you for introducing about the Vietnam's Eco-friendly Mobility system.
I heard that most of Vietnamese drive own scooter.
It would be great to replace internal combustion scooter to electric one exhausts no emission gas.
I am curious about the fee system while borrowing eScooter in Campus and the service is successfully operating.
Can you divulge specific things about it?
I hope everything will come out all right.
Green cheers!
Best regards,
SJ mentor.

Hello Nhu,
this is your mentor WooJoo.
Warm greetings from South Korea.
Thank you for sharing such an interesting report with us.
I am surprised that they organized such contest to gather idea and apply it to the mobility.
It would be great if you show us how the eScooter looks like too.
In South Korea, we have city-run bicycles, electric kickboards and scooters, in which the citizens can rent it and the fee is very cheap.
Eco-friendly mobility production and use should be increased, and people should enhance their awareness of sustainable city too.
Keep sharing
Regards,
WooJoo
