When the world was faced with agony, during the early days of the Coronavirus lockdowns, it was the artists who kept us sane. Artists such as Quentin Tarantino and David Lynch kept me busy for days with their movies. Artists have already played a big role in our life and they similarly play a very big role in the struggle for sustainability. I have decided to shed light to some of my favorite environmental music on this article please have a listen: MOS DEF - NEW WORLD WATER: A beautiful classic chill hop California style rap about the class struggle and its relationship with the environment. The song highlights how the rich have done their very best to accumulate important resources that their unsustainable business practices have made scarce. A struggle for water from the eyes of a black person is most definitely an important lesson to learn Link: https://youtu.be/IxvQKZPb6Wo CHILDISH GAMBINO – FEELS LIKE SUMMER: Incorporating elements from the good old days of the 70s, Artist Donald Glover brings light of the bee crisis explaining a very difficult topic in a musically poetic way: Every day gets hotter than the one before Link: https://youtu.be/F1B9Fk_SgI0 BILLIE EILISH – ALL THE GOOD GIRLS GO TO HELL: Billie¡¯s gift to the 2rd UN Climate Action Summit is a beautiful song aptly titled all the good girls go to hell. It came with a post on her Instagram that stated ¡°right now there are millions of people all over the world begging our leaders to pay attention. our earth is warming up at an unprecedented rate, icecaps are melting, our oceans are rising, our wildlife is being poisoned and our forests are burning. on september 23rd, the UN will host the Climate Action Summit to discuss how to tackle these issues. the clock is ticking. on friday september 20th and friday september 27th you can make your voice be heard. take it to the streets.¡± Link: https://youtu.be/-PZsSWwc9xA COLD PLAY – BEAUTIFUL WORLD: (No not the Bon Jovi one) This underappreciated Cold Play song is back when cold play was coming out of their Pearl Jam stan days, the songs make you think about how beautiful the world is and maybe it may prompt you to keep it as beautiful as it is. Hello Mahsinur!
It's your SJ mentor.
I hope you are doing well.
Thank you for introducing musicians and music related to the environment.
Not only singers but also various people are interested in the environment and raising their voices.
Coldplay has declared that they will not have a world tour in the future.
As digitalization is accelerating due to the COVID-19, I hope we can reduce our environmental footprint through online performances and exhibitions.
Green cheers!
Best regards,
SJ mentor.

Hello Mahsinur,
this is your mentor WooJoo.
Warm greetings from South Korea!
Thank you for sharing your favorite musics with us.
There are songs that I've never listened to, so I will take some time to listen them! :)
Artists can influence people in very different ways,
and I think these environmental musics are wonderful as a song, and as a way to increase people's awareness as well.
Keep writing
Regards,
WooJoo
