Wastes and Environment

by Amina Kabdyrakym | 06-02-2021 21:17 recommendations 0

Recycling is a vital aspect of the Green Economy. Therefore, more and more attention made to it.  As recycling is dependant on how people recycle, I always try to control recycling in my family. We have a bin for paper trash. We throw to this bin papers that are used for drawing and study. We also try to read books and study materials online to prevent excess paper usage.  We usually hand over the waste paper, and they give us money for what we can buy bread. I think that it motivates other people to recycle paper.
Also, we try to prevent food waste. Therefore, we try to buy only food that our family eats. We usually buy dried fruits and eat them as a sweet.
Apart from paper waste, we divide waste into two non-recyclable and recyclable ones. In recyclable waste, we throw all types of plastic. For non-recyclable, we put all organic waste.
The recycling bin is divided into glass waste, paper waste, metal waste, and plastic waste. Each of them has a unique color that makes recycling, from my point of view, trendy.
Also, recycling companies accept glass waste for money. Moreover, we can buy trash pocket that is recycled.
To conclude, recycling companies are motivating people to recycle, and more and more people are recycling.

    Hello Amina!
    It's your SJ mentor.

Thank you for writing a report that introduces recycling and efforts to reduce wastes.
As urbanization took place and society became more and more diversified, distribution was created in all processes.
As a result, a large amount of garbage is generated during packaging and transportation.
Waste can be divided into recyclable and non-recyclable things, and recyclable things should be improved as much as possible.
In particular, plastics currently have less than 50 percent recycling rate, and innovative emissions and collection systems should be introduced to ensure recycling.
It is still much cheaper to make new products than to recycle, so the merit of recycling is low.
For the sake of the environment, environmental costs should be added to the price of goods to reduce the burden on future society.

    Green cheers!

    Best regards,
    SJ mentor.

    Hello Amina,
    this is your mentor WooJoo.

I hope you are doing well.
Thank you for sharing your thematic report about recycling!
Buying only what we need can reduce the production and waste,
and it would be more helpful if we recycle, reuse and reduce obviously.
What we always should do is putting a waste in its container to increase the amount of recycling.
Also, changing the way of packaging into a eco-friendly one would decrease huge amount of plastics used, as some of the companies are doing worlwide.
It would be nice if you share with us your daily recycling routine in detail!

    Keep sharing

    Regards,
    WooJoo
