The domain of Pollution is concerned with the contamination of our environment that causes changes in the physical or biological characteristics of air, water or land that effects the human health. It is a hard pill to swallow for us as a civilisation, but standing and staring in the eyes of disbelief and delusional-ism is of no benefit either. We humans are causing harm to our own selves, putting our very own race at stake. We have achieved remarkable growth in various bailiwicks but at the cost of our own safety and sanctity. All kinds of pollution are a great hazard to our health and are associated with many ailments and diseases such as cough, shortness of breath, lung cancer, skin cancer, emphysema, asthma,COPD ,respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases, mental and perinatal diseases in infants, chronic diseases in adults, CNS dysfunction and many more, which claim the lives of thousands around the globe, every year. Not to mention, with the advent of COVID-19,respiratory issues have worsened further in pollution stricken regions. First things first,to get a hold on this dilemma, we should educate ourselves about the ravages of pollution and the wrathful havocs brought forth by its existence. We inhabit mother Earth. We have no other planet to call home apart from this globe of ours.Hence its an incumbent duty lying on our shoulders to take a firm stance and work towards creating a healthy and sustainable environment for ourselves, and our future generations. This begets the question:What should we do?Well to start off, revamping our own homes by recycling leftovers is a good kick-off.Magnify this very phenomenon and we are looking at billions of dollars saved in cash and resources by multiple firms which can manage to cut down on their waste production,if properly aided by the government. Swapping Electric cars for fossil fuel driven vehicles can add an entirely different touch to the narrative. We can go on and own with the suggestions, but the germane to our theme is bringing a change in the mindsets of the citizens of this world, instilling a sense of love in them for this planet of ours, which will ultimately mould them into working for the betterment of our society,by cutting down on this curse;called *pollution*,leading to an undoubtedly better future for all of us.

Hi ARHAM,
This is your mentor Yuseon:D
I cannot agree more with your opinion that of the importance of us taking responsibility to preserve our planet, since until now, it seems to be our one and only possilble habitation for human.
Also, pollution is not just harmful for the earth, but as we constantly breath through air, and everything we use comes from water, it is vital to out health, too.
As you have said, changing the mindset of people is the most effective and long-term solution to preserving our environment. Well, we should all do our best for the greater good.
Keep up the good work,
Yuseon

Hi Arham,
This is your mentor Debbie. :)
I agree that with the rise of COVID-19, respiratory issues have become worse. Due to the increase in fine dust, air pollution has been worsening but with the pandemic ?? (big sigh!!)
Anyways, recycling is definitely something we should work on - but personally I also feel like not using disposables from the first place is as important. Any thoughts?
Thanks for sharing your insights. Great job Arham!

Debbie
