*WHAT IS GREEN ARCHITECTURE?* Green Architecture can be defined as a way of developing a sustainable eco-friendly environment by taking into consideration the development of buildings and infrastructures in such a way that they do not contribute harm to the environment. This modern and new approach towards a sustainable environment around is a need of time which would help us to address and solve this major crisis that haunts us so the earlier we deal with this problem the earlier we¡¯ll get to resolve it before it turns out to become an irreversible crisis in the nearby future. *WHY GREEN ARCHITECTURE?* Moreover, the existing buildings and structures still are one of the major concerns that stand in the way of adopting this new and useful way to deal with the hazards of pollution since the way they are developed and made to function, contribute a lot to pollution such as the emission of harmful gases, no method for recycling of wastes, handling of toxic-chemicals, land refill and ultimately the way they are constructed and demolished all of them contribute to the destruction of the environment that eventually imposes a major threat to human life. *IMPACTS ON HUMAN AND ENVIRONMENT* Today we see humans facing different health issues such as an alarming increase in the variety of different diseases comprising primarily of lung and heart complications. Humans living and working in poorly managed buildings face a real and a serious risk of developing these diseases and many more. Especially here in Pakistan, the situation is worst of all.People here are forced to live and work in poorly operated buildings with mediocre infrastructure and no proper inspection of standards health-wise. The people themselves also seem to neglect this health crisis by not considering it as a serious concern. Today the quality of life has greatly declined and nobody seems to care about it. *HOW CAN WE ADOPT GREEN ARCHITECTURE?* Green architecture can easily be applied in our lives if we start to modernise and update our buildings starting with the use of reusable, eco-friendly, and sustainable materials. We can make a big difference by using more sustainable products. The use of solar panels in our industries can help us saving electricity and transitiom to more cost efficient and eco friendly options that eventually would help to prevent pollution . We can learn from other countries how to adopt this life-changing ideology. Using more and more natural resources smartly would help us to achieve what we can say can prove to be a life-saving thing that would eventually change the world for the betterment of not only humans but also our partners in existence,i.e-other living beings. *CONCLUSION* At present times we need to ponder over the fact that pollution has shown an alarming increase and in order, to manage it, we need to take immediate measures before it turns out to become an unresolved crisis that not only is a danger to our present but also the forthcoming generations. We can start by adopting this wonderful ideology of innovating new sources and improving the current mechanism of architecture, while simultaneously shifting to a better eco-friendly and life-saving strategy of creating green architecture.

Hi ARHAM,
This is your mentor Yuseon:D
Green architecture is something we cannot easily adopt in personal needs, as we do not get to build our houses that we live in. That is why these must be done in a large scale, such as regulations or policies regarding eco-friendly construction.
Good points you've got here on your April thematic report. You have reported the necessities of green architecture and specific ways to adopt them, along with your insight as conclusion. I loved the overall foramat of your report:) Good job!

Hi Arham,
This is your mentor Debbie. :)
Thank you for submitting your article about green architecture. I love how you used subtitles to separate into paragraphs. It was easy to read through the whole article. :)
Hopefully more people would be aware of the danger we are in. A lot of us are still reluctant to see the reality :( Thanks for sharing your insights!
Green Cheers
,
Debbie
