Green Vehicles

At a first look at the topic, one may ask; what are green vehicles? Green vehicles are cars engineered to operate using electric cells rather than fuel (fossil). It is no doubt that this initiative would go a long way to help in the fight against excessive emission of carbon and smoke form vehicles.

One interesting fact (per my research) is that most of these green cars have been programmed with high artificial intelligence, meaning most of these cars can perform complex activities such as auto driving and auto navigation using GPS and this would help reduce stress in manual driving. Some other types are hybrid vehicles, meaning those cars can use both the electricity and fuel to operate.

With the few I have written about these green vehicles, it would be agreed that they would really help us. My problem is however related to my continent Africa and our approach to embracing this new change that is gradually rolling out like rain from a cloud.

I would want to state as a fact that most of these initiatives when taken, Africa is almost never part of the consideration. Mercedes Benz has one of its biggest importers being Africa but I have never seen any advert of theirs on any African Channel pioneering the idea of their new green car (EQC 400) into the minds of people and same runs through for all other vehicle producing companies who export vehicles to Africa.

With the vehicles that are even imported into the country, most of them are salvaged vehicles which would not be allowed to operate on the streets of these western countries who bring them here, yet one way or the other they would find their way down here to Africa.

Africa is a viable market with high potential to succeed and we deserve better too. I would therefore urge the international community to take advantage of our quest for success to even introduce the green cars here, making Africa their top priority because Africa is the one of the most polluted continents and if we can get rid of this pollution I would prefer that it starts here, make Africa the target and the change that would come with it could be massive.

    Dear Justice,

    This is your mentor Debbie.

It??s great that you made a connection between green vehicles and the use of Internet of Things. Many car manufacturers have been trying to make cars ¡°SMART¡±.

But it??s unfortunate to hear that Africa is suffering from poor cars being exported to Africa. As you said, I hope we can all be on the same page in terms of saving the environment! Thanks for the great slogan too. :D
