What is The Paris Agreement? A legally binding international agreement was adopted by a great number of countries, 196 to be exact. This Treaty (known as the Paris Agreement) states that all parties that signed the agreement take decisive steps/measures, adopt policies and enact laws to achieve Carbon Neutrality by 2050. This Agreement has the sole purpose of limiting global warming to 1.5¡ÆC or 2¡ÆC in an effort to stop the human burden on the ecosystem. What work is being done to achieve carbon neutrality? By Countries Two countries Bhutan and Suriname have become Carbon Negative (Remove more Carbon from the atmosphere than they emit). - (www.greenbiz.com/article/one-sixth-worlds-economy-soon-could-be-covered-carbon-neutral-commitments) Iceland Generates 99% of its electricity and 80% of all it uses from Hydropower and geothermal resources, leaving small if at all existent Carbon Footprint. The Nation Aims to become carbon neutral before 2040 and further reduce gas emissions by 40% by 2030. – (www.government.is/topics/environment-climate-and-nature-protection/climate-change/) Costa Rica Aims to become carbon Neutral by the end of 2021. Dear Arham,
This is your mentor Debbie. :)
Wow, I'm really surprised that we have carbon negative countries already..! (Not so sure if the word 'already' is a good word to use here but yeah) It definitely shows that many countries around the world are working for carbon neutrality and that we as individuals should not be at the back ends. We should fight for reading the common goal too!
Best,
Debbie

Dear ARHAM,
This is your mentor Yuseon :D
Nicely summarized key aspects of the Paris Agreement!
This article was especially helpful because you informatively distinguished the roles of the government and corporations in making this agreement work.
Seems that you are taking a keen look into intergovernmental agendas regarding environmental issues! Hope you keep up the good work.
