Eco-Friendly Waste Management
I was happy to see this topic chosen for the month of October because believe it or not, Eco-friendly waste management is something I¡¯ve thought about a lot in my lifetime. I¡¯m twenty years old and I grew up in the generation of environmental consciousness when we¡¯d see cartoons on the TV singing about ¡®reduce,re-use,re-cycle'
This slogan entails the complete principles of Eco-Friendly Waste Management .
In the past all I knew about garbage was the fact that we collected it in a bin and left it out once a week for the garbage man to come and collect what I was unaware of at the time was how that stinky pile was slowly turning into one of the biggest and most important industries in the world
I was very shocked when I learnt that 75% of all waste is recyclable not just for us but for the pioneers of the waste management industry
but the downside is we have to arrange the waste ourselves into separate bins and as humans we may see this as an unnecessary inconvenience despite how it could help improve our futures as well as the futures of the world
The biggest and best ways we can manage our waste in the most eco friendly ways includes
1.Recycling as mentioned earlier whats is recycling exactly ? Well it is the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away and turning them into new products
2. The second method would be reusing things for example reusing a jam jar for spice storage
3. Composting is when you turn your food waste into fuel for your garden this helps your garden and reduces your carbon footprint
4.Anaerobic digestion this is when plant and animal materials are broken down in the absence of air causing a release of methane rich gas which can be used for heat and power
There are so many ways to be Eco-friendly and thanks to awareness programmes even corporations are on board with this trend.
We must all support Eco-Friendly Waste Management for cleaner futures.

Hello Malewo, this it your mentor Joon.

There are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Don't they sound familiar? They are also principles
of Zero Waste Movement! Though both are different topics, they are closely related to each
other. Our final goal is to reduce as much waste as possible, and reuse, recycle so we can only deal with limited solid wastes that are hard to be processed. Different moves are being made to ensure this and people are working on it to make it as eco-friendly as possible. Hope you can also participate into this lifestyle.

Well read your article, and best of wishes.

    Yours,

    Joon
