Peruvian government have just published a document through Ministery of Environment website (2021), there we can became aware of the level of waste people is able to dispose into the environment.
We have so many projects of environmental awareness that tries to motivate citizens to reuse, recycle and reduce all resources that could became hamful for the environment: nevertheless, until what point is that really a solution? Sometime I like to think, what do children do with those products made by recycle bags and paper. Maybe because back to those years I used to throw them away as far as I got home, with this I am not saying everyone have done the same. When I read the theme was Eco-Friendly Waste Managment the first thing that came to my mind was how overrated was doing these little toys based on recycle material. I am well aware that I could generate such a bad taste in the mouth with this hopeless reflection, yet from my perspective it is important to be conscious that there are some actions that are not fulfilling its purpose and start enhancing new ones that would have a better and more effective impact on fighting climate change. Sorry for the late comment.
I think there are bone in the words that some environmental actions are overrated and the purposes aren't fulfilled in few situations.

Back then, when we were kids, it was hard to find toys and products made from recycled
material. People also had negative perception about reused, recycled products. However,
time has passed and people now have positive thoughts about it. We tend to look for
products that was made environmentally friendly at the same price, and some are even willing to pay more. There are many reasons behind it, but the main cause is that people
are now somewhat aware about seriousness of climate change and negative impact human is giving to our nature. Yet, it is not enough. We still have much to go.
