27th Ambassadorship, Month 4, Report 1 Thematic Report: December Theme: Careers(Jobs) Related to Renewable Energy Title: Wind Energy Engineer Wind energy engineering involves the process of designing wind farms. It encompasses the entire design process. Under this, all physical and electrical components come which must be planned, manufactured, and tested. A scientist who designs wind farms and their constituents is known as a wind energy engineer. A variety of engineers are involved in wind energy projects. They work on wind farm installations, farm layouts, schematics, and studies to improve wind energy utilization. Some wind energy engineers are solely concerned with the design of hardware such as turbines, rotor blades, electrical systems, and energy production systems. They examine the qualities of novel designs, conduct tests, and record the results of those experiments. Some are in charge of component manufacturing and testing, as well as manufacturing process budgeting and scheduling. Wind energy engineers may also be involved in determining whether or not a project complies with health and safety regulations. They may be involved in land-use or other local rules in certain towns, which could provide valuable insight into how to construct a specific wind energy system in that place. They also undertake assessments to improve the designs and layouts of supporting infrastructure like roads and electricity lines. Some people are in charge of component design and testing. They also look at the budget and scheduling requirements for the production process. References:

Hello Alok, this is your mentor Joon.
I am quite sure you have gone through many different types of renewable energies along your research process. Wind Energy is one of them, which requires some high level of engineering. Did you know that wind turbines cannot generate energy if the wind is too fast? It is due to the mechanism of it, and therefore researchers always have to keep it in their mind and are currently finding ways to transfer it close to 100 per cent efficiency.
Well read your article, and let's keep up.
Best,
Joon
