Life Cycle Approach GreenPro follows a life cycle approach for certifying a product. Right from the raw material extraction to the end of useful life of the product is considered for certification. The rating system encourages the product manufacturers to incorporate or implement measures that would result in environmental, health and wellbeing benefits at the following stages of the life cycle of the products.
The Green product rating enables the transformation of the existing 'linear' - unsustainable process to a sustainable 'cyclic' process, thereby eliminates / reduces the quantity of disposal of wastes in landfills or through incineration. What are its benefits?

Hello Risav, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
Thank you for introducing us to Indian green certification system! When one company make their products environmentally friendly, they need to examine all possible issues related to their products in terms of the environment. Value chains including raw material supply, manufacturing, transporting and so on are all assessed by a green certification program. This makes companies which make efforts to be a more eco-freindly business to grow and change!
Thank you for the article!

Chelwoon

Hello Risav, this is your mentor Joon.
There are different green certification programs all around the one, and apparently you have brought to us about Indian certification program! Such an interesting topic, I would like to say. It seems like it shares the similar process on giving out the green certification to those existing in Korea, and I am quite surprised about it. Especially the point it looks at the lifecycle of the product! Thanks for sharing the story of your region!
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
