Green Certificate Programs Many people know about these programs. I will talk more about these programs in my country, Mexico. In my country, they are mostly focused on real estate construction. For what I mentioned in the paragraph, in Mexico, several buildings are certified by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and by several others, but mainly by LEED. But legislation and several reforms gave way to this. Although there are few buildings with this certification, but 15, there are several projects that are still waiting for the appraisal and hope to receive this certification. Even if there are few, I think it is a great step to promote environmental awareness. Although there are these programs, there is still much to be done in this area, not only in Mexico but also throughout Latin America. In addition to this, better laws are needed in Mexico and in Latin America. Better incentives and laws are needed to be able to continue with this process to become a more sustainable and environmentally conscious world.

Hello Daniel, this is your mentor Chelwoon.
I think architectural field is one of the fields where green certifications are already prevalent. Efforts to build eco-friendly buildings are being made all over the world. There exist many types of green building certification programs, and among them, LEED is the most famous one.
However, there still exist many entry barriers for some companies, for instance, technology and finance. In order to realize ideal green certification programs, we need to support companies which cannot afford to pay attention green businesses.

Hello Daniel, this is your mentor Joon.
There are different green certification programs going on around the world, and LEED seems to be quite famous one for our ambassadors! It is often used in buildings and measures whether it has minimum requirements met based on their criteria. Though such programs exist, there are no clear reason for companies to get such certificates as there are not much benefits given for building architectures under such standards. Hope more policies and laws are made in order to support it.
