Sometimes, Life seems deprived of water, and the other times, it's brimmed with water but as destruction. At the start of the summer season of 2022, the people of Pakistan were looking forward to the rains, children crying for water, and animals lingering with the dryness of the season. It was the era of drought in Pakistan that impacted the South Punjab Region and brought death howling like cruel monsters in the sky. Time changed, the water took a turn and the climate crisis made it worse. Yes! Monsoon Rainfall added a destructive impact bringing Floods all across Pakistan. Till now, floods have hit 80% of Pakistan, bringing deaths to 1150 people, devastating houses of almost 30 Million population, and bringing havoc by perishing more than 30 small dams in Pakistan. Floods have damaged as many as 129 bridges across Pakistan, disrupting the supply of fruits and vegetables and causing an increase in prices. Not only this, heavy rainfall has triggered floods all across Pakistan, making land fade away and everything drowned in the wreaked flooding. Millions of People are living in tents, deprived of necessities of life while thousands are dying due to emerging infectious diseases from water. The flooding has further exacerbated Pakistan¡¯s economic crisis. Several NGOs, local organizations, and private companies are working from day to night to provide essentials to the affected regions. While on the other hand, climate change has caused erratic weather conditions in Pakistan, resulting in cloudbursts and excessive melting of glaciers that has swelled rivers. Experts have looked into the matter and are reported that controlling erratic climate changes, and limiting planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions will help limit more drastic weather events around the world. In the upcoming 72 hours, it is reported that more deadly events might happen, resulting in more drastic impacts around the globe. ¡°In recent decades, we never witnessed such an unusual heavier downpour in Pakistan,¡± scientist Shahla Gondal told The Associated Press news agency, adding that authorities are ill-equipped and ¡°do not know how to tackle¡± flooding disasters. People are getting impacted and climate changes are taking turns every passing second. There is a dire need to create awareness regarding climate impacts and limit the erratic downfall impacts of human acts. Despite the differences in castes, creeds, languages, or social barriers, we need to unite at one forum. We need to create an impact by uniting everyone globally, making people learn about the impacts of climatic changes and the havoc caused by them. It's time to get united or else climatic impacts might trigger worse conditions, making humans wiped out in one go! |

Flood is a topic in the world. It often leads to an incident with many casualties. We should know that frequent flood is one of the consequences of ¡°climate change¡±. A rise of one degree in the seawater can change a lot things. We can no longer just stand and watch it. We need to take action to solve these problems before it is too late.
Thank you for the article!

Hello Govinda, this is your mentor Joon.
Unlike other climate threats, the ones caused by monsoon is quite predictable as it always happens in specific period and it has been recorded for thousands of years. Yet, recently, such predictions are getting off and causing problems to civilians, and I believe it is the problem of climate change. It should be addressed NOW.
It was a pleasure for me to mentor you on past 6 months. What I feel, and realize now is that I have not been knowledgeable enough to provide more information related to different subjects. Hope you could keep up with environmental activities as well as your other works. Once again, thank you for following me.
Well read your article, and let's keep up!
Best,
Joon
